April 5, 2018 Imagine Luncheon – Nourishing Bright Futures!

Thank you to all the wonderful supporters that were able to join us at our recent Imagine Luncheon. Over $110,000 dollars were raised! This critical funding supports early learning, nurtures creative thinking in children of all ages, and provides opportunities for families to engage in meaningful, quality family time. It also helps underwrite our Access for All program which breaks down barriers for economically challenged individuals including Title I school students, medically fragile children and adults with unique needs.

Huge thank you to our generous event sponsors!

Luncheon attendees were greeted with the lovely sounds of the Mesa Public School Harp Ensemble. Before the program began, guests were able to mingle and the room had a celebratory energy!

Museum Board Chair, Dawn Giles, kicked off the event and guests enjoyed a beautiful song sung by i.d.e.a. Museum member children, directed by their mothers.

After enjoying a delicious salad catered by Mad Greens, Executive Director Sunnee O’Rork shared how the museum is supporting early learning, nurturing creative thinking and engaging families, and then shared her vision for the future, a “garden of possibilities”. Guests were also inspired by personal stories of how the museum impacted them, delivered by i.d.e.a. Museum families.

Mayor John Giles invited everyone to help plant seeds for a bright future for children and families and nourish bright futures. Of course, we can’t forget to mention our wonderful luncheon staff and volunteer team who helped make the event a success!
