ArtVille: Created for little ones

In ArtVille, young crawlers and curious toddlers enjoy interacting in a town built to cultivate exploration, imagination and creative expression. Imaginative play in the town encourages social-emotional and language development. This socks-only space was designed with the unique requirements of little ones in mind to support early learning.

Stay to play in the museum

While at the museum, visitors are encouraged to explore the museum’s current exhibition, Junkyard Jungle, which is on display through May 26. Activities include making collages of wild beasts and butterflies, exploring the black light rainforest and enjoying imaginary play as biologists, entomologists, zoologists and ecologists.

The i.d.e.a. Museum serves 90,000 people annually. It offers art exhibitions and hands-on STEAM activities that support early learning, nurture creative thinking and engage families in quality time learning together. It is a place “for your child and the child within you.”

Regular museum admission is $9 for ages 1 and older; i.d.e.a. Museum members are free. Learn more about the i.d.e.a. Museum: ideaMuseum.org
