Pack in an extra special day of fun – before school goes back in session – at the i.d.e.a. Museum.

Experience a virtual vacation through some iconic travel stops during the museum’s Roadside USA Family Day on July 27. Children of all ages will enjoy the summer exhibition, as well as additional art and hands-on activities that showcase an American tradition – the family road trip.

Featured activities

  • Paint the town in Art Studio’s “Cardboard City” (inside ArtVille, a socks-only space aimed at little ones ages 0-4)
  • Create a personalized luggage tag and iron-on patch
  • Play classic travel games
  • Meet exhibition artist Judy Wood
  • Participate in a roadside poetry workshop
  • Enjoy S’mores mix around a “campfire”

All activities are included with museum admission, which is $9 for ages 1 and up; free for members. Memberships start at $55.
